Base Salary: Employees are paid bi-weekly through direct deposit in up to two different accounts.  The company reviews annual salary surveys to ensure that employees' salaries are competitive.

 

Incentive Plan:  Our incentive plan aligns mutual interests between the company and employees by linking compensation directly with the attainment of predetermined corporate and individual objectives.

 

Extended Health and Dental Benefits:  We offer a full range of extended health benefits including prescription drugs, vision care, out of province emergency and travel benefits, and preventative and restorative dental benefits.

 

Life Insurance:  In addition to the basic coverage Gore Mutual provides to all employees, you can increase the amount of life insurance coverage you have, as well as purchase life insurance for your spouse and children.

 

Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance (AD & D): This insurance pays a benefit if you are seriously injured or die as a result of an accident. The company pays your basic coverage but you may also purchase additional coverage for you and your family.

 

Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance: This insurance will cover you in the event of an extended illness.

 

Pension Plan:  We offer our employees a Defined Contribution Plan with early retirement provisions.  This plan supplements those benefits you would receive from the government and your own personal retirement savings, to provide you with some financial security during retirement.

 

Employee Assistance Program:  We also provide access to free and confidential advice and information on a wide variety of topics from childcare, eldercare, work/life balance, buying a home, etc.

 

Discount on Insurance:  Gore Mutual offers employees a discount on their auto and home insurance. 

 

Educational Assistance Program:  The company is committed to the continuous learning of all employees. The company will pay 100% of your course fees and textbooks for any CIP/FCIP and other job related development training. We also offer cash bonuses for the successful completion of CIP/FCIP courses.

 

Personal Computer Loan Program:  Gore Mutual offers an interest-free loan up to $3000 to purchase a computer or peripheral device.

 

Fitness Facilities:  We have an on-site fitness area.  Gym membership, change rooms and a variety of fitness classes are available for a small annual fee.
