Our client is looking for an experienced Construction Broker to join their team! This is a newly created role where you will help building out a new division and the ideal candidate must have experience with mid-large sized construction accounts.
Location: Hybrid in BC
Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:
- Help build out a Construction team
- Be the market facing lead on submission development, strategies, negotiation rate, and coverages
- Set up internal processes, forms, and procedures for servicing clients
- Supporting products with presentations to clients and prospects on coverage recommendations and marketing results
- Attending client and prospect events hosted by brokerage
Requirements:
- 7 years+ experience placing insurance program for construction clients
- Must understand how to assess, structure, market, and place insurance programs for developers and construction industry entitles
- Team player with excellent communication and management skills
