Senior Commercial Account Manager-Construction

Their core values at the Brokerage empower insurance professionals to build a great in a dynamic environment while developing creative solutions for complex problems on some of the most exciting construction projects.  An Account Manager in our Construction Department will manage end to end services for a primary client in coordination with a collaborative team.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Manage relationships with the Primary Account Teams both internally and externally
  • Manage full execution of certificates, binders, policies and endorsements
  • Conduct tender and policy reviews
  • Obtain quotes as required
  • Process policy documents and related communication
  • Produce invoices and manage premium allocation
  • Maintain strong market relationships
  • Ensure Brokerage file compliance
  • Maintain Broker Record System – Agency Manager both hard and soft copies of active files
  • Participate in selected Industry Events in representation of the Brokerage
  • Promote and increase the Brokerage profile
  • Provide ongoing support to the office team where needed

 

 

Key Qualifications/Attributes

 

  • RIBO Licensed plus continued industry education ie. CIP, CAIB, and or CRM
  • 10 + years Insurance experience at least 5 years within the Construction sector
  • Diverse knowledge of Construction, Project Management and CCDC Contracts
  • Strong initiative and detail oriented with high accuracy
  • Prompt, professional and clear communication and follow up
  • Capable of managing a high volume of work to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt calmly under pressure
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the team and effortlessly when working independently
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Office, TAM (Applied systems) or similar industry systems
