Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced Claims Supervisor to join their team! The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years adjusting (including property) experience and prior experience in leadership role.
Location: Vancouver, B.C.
Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and supervise daily activities of claims team
- Manage service levels by organizing, distributing, monitoring workflow and setting priorities to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity as guided by corporate policies, procedures and business plans
- Conduct or contribute to employee development, and employee performance management through coaching and following up on the development of their team’s technical competencies
- Conduct periodic review of claims files and coach team to strive for continuous improvement and development by setting and tracking individual and team performance objectives
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years progressive insurance adjusting experience, including property adjusting experience
- Prior experience in leadership role is a must
- Completion or in progress of pursuing CIP/FCIP designation is preferred
- Team player with excellent communication and management skills
