XL Winterthur International is a newly licensed branch of the XL Capital Group, an Insurance,Reinsurance and Financial Products Group with consolidated assets of $37.5 billion US dollars and shareholders equity of $6.8 billion US dollars. The Canadian branch will write approx. $40 million in premium in 2003, its clients are large mutinational groups.
