Description de l'offre d'emploi

In-Scope

Permanent, Full-Time

Location: Regina, Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Yorkton, Weyburn, Kindersley, North Battleford, Lloydminster, Meadow Lake

Close Date: December 15, 2024

This role is eligible for hybrid – this means you’ll have the flexibility of working from home and in the office, on a scheduled rotation once probation requirements have been met. Until then, the successful incumbent will be expected to work on-site, full-time.

Work should be so much more than just a job you do to earn a paycheque. And at SGI, it is.

Of course, we offer the essentials – a competitive salary, great pension, and excellent employer-paid family benefits. But we also provide opportunities. The opportunity to do work that makes a difference in your community. The opportunity to expand your professional skills and grow your career. And the opportunity to come to work every day to a job you’re passionate about and that leaves you feeling happy and fulfilled.

Hopefully we’ve sparked your interest because we’re hiring!

We’re looking for a Senior Liability Specialist to join our team!

We hope you consider applying if you:

  • Have expert-level skill in liability claims adjusting
  • Enjoy sharing your knowledge and supporting a culture of leadership and accountability
  • Are detail-oriented and well-versed in insurance theory
  • Want to leverage your leadership skills for good – like actively supporting SGI’s culture, expanding your own learning and supporting your colleagues as they do the same

Typically, these skills are gained through a two-year diploma from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study such as Business, or Health Sciences or defined equivalency, and 5 – 7 years of experience handling complex property and casualty claims.

Interested in this role, but don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At SGI we’re committed to creating a workforce as diverse as our communities, so if this sounds like something you’d be interested in, we encourage you to apply!

What else do we offer?

Our   gives a run-down of the many perks of working with us, including:

  • Work-life balance - how does an extra day off every two weeks sound? Parental leave top-up pay.
  • Personal development (for temp roles too!) - we invest in leadership, employee training and provide education funding to keep our work environments healthy and our teams thriving!
  • A positive, healthy work culture- Work culture can be the reason an employee stays or leaves a job. At SGI/SGI CANADA, we’ve worked hard to develop a culture we’re proud of. And we continue to invest in our culture through training to make sure that our actions (and culture) reflect our corporate values: caring, passion, innovation, and integrity.
  • Awesome people -Seriously. We hire the best people and you get to work with them. At SGI/SGI CANADA, you’ll find the work family you didn’t know you needed.

We strive to create the kind of work environments where employees want to come to work, and we look forward to your application!
