Key Accountabilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as the client’s primary point of contact
  • Manage a focused Personal Lines portfolio of insurance accounts
  • Provide excellent client service while dealing with new and existing clients as well as industry partners
  • Advise on insurance coverage within licence guidelines and bind authority outlined by the Company
  • Recognize key growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure clients’ needs are met
  • Identify prospective clients through leads and referrals
  • Coordinate with new and renewal clients to understand the underwriting requirements
  • Stay current on insurance knowledge and industry trends through approved educational resources
  • Actively participate in Company, community and networking events as an ambassador for the Company
  • Acknowledge and support the Company’s values within daily transactions


Qualifications / Attributes

  • An OTL Licence or willing to obtain it upon employment
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales and customer service
  • Insurance knowledge would be a huge asset
  • Excellent communication skills with respect for privacy
  • Able to multi-task and pay attention to detail with high level of accuracy
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in relation to business operations
  • Organized and work effectively with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Customer focused demonstrating integrity and utmost good faith
  • Disciplined working independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Maintain positive working relationships and liaison with all business partners internally and externally
  • Strong computer proficiency with experience on Microsoft Office and quick to adapt to new programs (experience with EPIC would be an asset)
