As CIA, you will lead a comprehensive internal audit program, offering strategic assurance and advisory services that strengthen risk management and internal controls across SGI and its regional operations. You will provide valuable insights to the Audit, Finance, and Conduct Review Committee, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and the protection of assets. A champion of continuous improvement, you will have the independence to drive meaningful change, positioning Internal Audit as a critical partner in achieving organizational success.

  • Have proven knowledge of corporate and IT governance, along with strong proficiency in internal control frameworks and techniques.

  • Possess the ability to build strategic partnerships and strong relationships, influencing key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Possess the talent to conceptualize and present audit findings in a clear, engaging, and inclusive way, ensuring actionable insights resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Combine strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into practical, business-driven insights.
  • Exhibit outstanding communication, leadership, and project management capabilities, driving meaningful change.
  • Are eager to leverage your leadership to foster innovation, actively contribute to SGI’s culture, and invest in ongoing learning and growth.

 

Typically, these skills are gained through a four-year degree in a relevant field such as business/commerce. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the field of auditing, with at least 10 years in progressive leadership roles. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or Auditing designation and a Certified Internal Auditor designation is required.
