You’re an experienced leader in product management looking for an opportunity to develop a team on exciting, high-profile products. You’ll define the vision, strategy and roadmap for our “Quote-and-Buy” product group, which helps our customers quote for and buy insurance products online. You’ll lead a team of 3 Digital Product Managers across Home, Auto & Leisure & Lifestyle products. This Product Group serves Aviva’s own Direct-to-Consumer business, as well as RBC Insurance.

You’ll be an authority in influencing senior and exec-level collaborators, highly analytical, able to balance driving rapid improvements to customer experience and business performance with building solid technical foundations that enable us to scale and build quickly, and a brilliant coach and mentor to a team of high-performing PMs.

What you’ll do:

  • Build the product vision, strategy, and outcome-based roadmap a group of related products
  • Develop OKRs and lead monthly performance updates and quarterly business reviews for your Product Group
  • Work closely with internal and external collaborators including at an executive level to ensure you’re driving improvements for multiple P&L owners
  • Collaborate with our Technology and Engineering leadership to ensure we’re building out stable foundations and improving our practices across the product development lifecycle
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and drive adoption of product features, with accountability for the long-term success and performance of your product group
  • Manage, mentor and coach a team of product managers and actively build a culture of high-performance founded on apprenticeship, feedback and collaborative problem-solving

Experience

  • Extensive experience as a product manager, and experience leading a team of PMs
  • Confirmed track-record of driving large-scale product initiatives across multiple teams and/or product lines
  • A track-record of delivering outsized business value from the products you have managed

What you’ll get:

  • The salary band for this position ranges from $113,500 to $210,900. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
